Chipreplaced (modded) Sony plays RCE since manual region selection is enebaled. No way though to "remote" hack any Sony to play multiregion. Only chipreplacement (or re-programming) works.

I was just accessing the service menu yesterday on a DVP330...unfortunately, it was at someone else's house, and I can't remember the buttons to do it! I'll list what little I can remember. Maybe playing around with the remote will get you in there.
It's something like this. With the player OFF, hit:
Clear (Middle left of remote)
Then a button 1 or 2 rows above that, also on the left. (I have no idea if the remotes are the same).
Then Power
You're then in the service menu. From there, I found the region setting, but on the 330 I couldn't change it.
Sorry I can't remember more.
