now I can't even access the site - it says page not found. Hmm...
Do you mean the entire database and all was up?
edit - actually it says "you are not authorized to view this page"

When you now go to asiandvdguide.com, you get the following message:
Directory Listing Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.
Either Muldoon also shut down the forum or something went wrong with the server he uses. This once great site looks to be gone for good.

I've tried to get in contact with the guy who runs asiandvdguide.com about hosting some of the content he had, but he doesn't respond to my e-mails. Anyone know how to get in contact with him?

I am sure Ryan(?) will re-appear sooner or later. Give him some time... It's a real shame. I relied heavily on his site to find movies I've never heard of or forgot about.

I think the Ryan you are talking about operates the Hong Kong movie database at hkmdb.com. On his site, he has a message about going off in a new direction. Deja.com's alt-asian.movies site is a disaster since google took over deja.com. HK movies are a niche market with very limited web resources now.

Hmm
Well the site was briefly up while the database was moved elsewhere, deleted, or whatever. If you'll notice, Matt's ASU homepage is no longer active. The original site had started there and has been linked from there since. False alarm people. As for contacting him, I don't believe he currently wishes to be contacted.

Humble thanks to Muldoon and anyone who helped to bring this valuable site back! AWESOME!!
And the site is way WAY FASTER than before. Could be low traffic or they have moved to a faster server. Anyway, lets just hope that the AsianDVDGuide is back for good! THANK YOU...
