If you've bought physical CDs from AMAZON since 1998 go to amazon.com/cloudplayer and it will add all eligible songs from the CDs to your player for free... AWESOME

Don't see an option for it and it doesn't appear to have happened automatically. Anyone know more details on how it is supposed to work?

That's cool. It did it automatically for me when I visited the URL. Took a few minutes but then notified me when it was done.

I read that it's slowly populating all user's accounts. It didn't show up in mine for about an hour, but then suddenly popped up on my cloudplayer screen.

I guess only CDs bought from Amazon proper show up, and that I buy most of mine from marketplace sellers, because I only got 11 CDs added.

Now that AMAZON is doing this, I see people buying CDs that do qualify that they want for the music downloads. Once the CDs come in they can turn around and sell them new and get most of their money back.

Well, that's certainly a pleasant surprise. Pretty neat.

Pro: AutoRip included an MP3-only bonus track not available on a CD that I bought.

Con: It uploaded the clean version of a particular CD, even though I bought the unedited one. Also, one album only included a handful of the songs from the original. (I'll never understand the intricacies of music licensing.)

But it's all gravy, so I'm not complaining.
