Re: $20 Amazon Gift Card $5

They canceled one of my cards but I got the other one this morning. It would have been nice to get two, but I'm not going to complain.

So, how quickly after cashing in their gift card(s) did everyone unsubscribe from any further Living Social emails?

I'm not unsubscribing or canceling my account until they credit my $10 back for the 3 referral thing

I didn't. I actually have a label in gmail where I dump all of my "deal of the day" emails. While most of them are pretty useless, occasionally something comes through that I can use, so I check the label every day. Since the deal is in the subject header, works great.

Re: $20 Amazon Gift Card $5

I asked them to flat-out close my account and purge my information from their systems after I saw how they were handling things for people ... (i.e. accepting deal bucks then not using them and charging full price; changing terms midway through, etc.). I didn't actually place an order but I wanted my account closed and all my personal info (email and name) purged from their systems.

They told me they did it ...

I can still log in now.

Will never deal with them ... ever.

That is a really good idea.

Re: $20 Amazon Gift Card $5

I got both of the two I ordered. One of them is accidentally linked to my Facebook account, and I didn't want it to be. Apparently they knew I was logged into Facebook in a different window, and just automatically linked them. That kinda pisses me off, since I didn't authorize that...

Oh well, we're all entitled to our opinons. Glad I could give you a chuckle.
