Made my reservation for Monday

I just happen to have a business trip booked to Ft. Worth during that week, so I've made my reservation. I'm not too keen on waiting in line with ~500 other people, though. This will be my first Chick-fil-A sandwich ever.

I think each time slot only had about 200 reservations available over the couple hours. I hope it'll be handled well, since I also made a reservation!

Regarding a wait at Chick-Fil-A, I've been to different ones during some very busy times and I've always been impresseed at how fast their service is. They really keep the lines moving whenever there's a crowd from what I've observed.

I think the reasons why they are so polite and have such high quality are related to the reason why they are closed on Sundays.

I'm a dollar menu whore, so I'm glad they have their never-expiring coupons, otherwise I'd skip them due to the high prices in comparison.

I can never find any CFA coupons (online or printed), aside from the annual calendars.

I always buy several of their calendars each year, $5 saves me at least $20 in coupons. I'm still using 2004 coupons though, so perhaps I should slow down....

I also got on their mailing list somehow, so get them in the mail occasionally.

Also, they often show up in the regular 'junk mail' sort of flyers and ads.

I think their regular sandwich is about the best thing going. That said, I didn't care for this one. Way too spicy. So hot that it masks the flavor. I'll stick with the original.

Wow, I'm glad I got a reservation when the OP first posted this. All of the CFA places anywhere close to here are totally out now. I'm talking within at least hundreds of miles. Do any of them even have any available anymore?

You know, I really like Chik-fil-a, and eat there often for lunch, but I'll be damned if I'm making a reservation to purchase a fuckin' fast food sandwich.

Meh. We walked in with our little printed slips of paper, and they had our sandwich to us in about the same time it would normally take to place the order.

Since it rolls out next Monday anyway, it's not like people are going to have to wait long to experience the joy of the spicy chicken.

I just had it and I thought it was great. I didn't even bother going in, they did it at the drive-thru for me. I don't, or rather can't, eat spicy food all that often but this is good that they have another thing as an option now.

If you want to make the sandwich a little more interesting ask them for a pack of both their buffalo and their ranch sauce and put just a little of both on the sandwich. It adds a bit more kick to it and gives it a cooling sensation at the same time.

I'm not sure what other stores did but mine was giving you an entire meal at a sectioned off part of the store with a few employees acting as hostess/waitresses. I got a sandwich, drink, medium fruit cup and a brownie, not bad for paying absolutely nothing.

Same thing happened at my store. Got fries and a sweet tea with the sandwich. It was a nice suprise. I thought the sandwich was good. I will probably still get the original or the grilled though.
