Summer Reading Incentives for Kids
Your kids are going to read anyway, so they might as well get rewarded for it. Here are three programs I have found:
Happy reading!
- Barnes & Noble - School-age kids (grades 1 - 6) can read 8 books, get 1 free, May 25 - September 7.
- Borders - Kids 12 and under can read 10 books, get 1 free, May 4 - August 26. (My local Borders added several very nice free book choices to the list last year.)
- Half Price Books - Kids 14 and under can earn $3 Shopping Card for each week reading 15 minutes per day, June 1 - July 31.
