I'm still pissed that the IMAX-Digital system hasn't opened at Tysons Corner...

I have one of these where the other side states only at AMC's with IMAX screens.

it was either going to be auditorium #1 or #3 (the one behind the concession stand to the left - it's a great HUGE screen that is the most ideal one to convert). I called yesterday and the plans have been changed AGAIN... to a vague: "sometime in the summer" (I'm hoping by the time the new 'Harry Potter' opens)

It said right on the Hollywood Movie Money Watchmen site that my local AMC would take it. It isn't a pass, but a one-time use Discover card. All they do is ring it up like a normal credit card sale.

I used this Monday, at the AMC Metreon in Sf, without having to show my ticket. The guy just took it, hit a button, and handed me my popcorn. Based on my experience, no Imax ticket, nor movie ticket even need be presented.

Good point, now that most of these freebies are one-time-use credit cards, there is really no reason for any theater to deny them.

I'll now be catching Watchmen for the second time at AMC.
