Has this deal panned out for anyone? I confess that since the link allowed me, I got greedy and requested samples of almost everything they offered but I haven't heard anything yet.

I don't know if I would agree with that. If someone is going to put out a freebie like that and allow such free access, they should expect that they are going to get a big response, especially in the case of a product that would have a pretty steady high demand. Even though I made multiple requests, I'd totally understand if they only honored my initial request and I think they'd be totally justified in limiting it to the first request for me and others even if they didn't make that a qualifier in their offer from the very beginning. In any event, it's no loss and potentially a nice gain.
