I am not sure there will be in time for this Christmas. At least not with a player that has many of the features that are needed.

the only thing that came lose was the Samsung + 8 movie deal last week. $157 total and you could sell the movies and get the player for about $50 max.

Other than that this thread will be empty for a while.

HI!

I am sending this e-mail to you all from the year 2013!

Caldor (it comes back with a vengeance in 2011) will be having a great $39 African-American Friday (President Obama had it legally changed in 2010) blu-ray player!

Keep your eyes peeled to THIS thread for more details!

PS: feel free to use this credit card when the time comes.

Yeah, according to that deal, the BD Player came out to around $85. (The remaining $83.98 discount came out of the 8 discs).

I live in TN and had no clue what Caldor was. I had to wiki it. Will they have stores in TN in 2013? Oh and will Obama be re-elected in 2012? Oh and PM me with the winners of the next 4 Super Bowls and World Series if you don't mind.

Caldor will buy out McDonalds and Microsoft. They will also start to run the military, ala 'Skynet', but all done at substantially reduced prices.

Obama does win again, narrowly beating out the frozen head of McCain to secure his second term.

Super Bowls? The Lions shockingly win it for the next 4 years.

The World Series is cancelled forever in 2010 due to lack of interest.

BTW, you should get that mole on your back checked by a professional. Seriously. Now.

That Samsung deal sounds amazing. Where can I get that and when does it expire? How is that model as a player? I care primarily about picture quality then load times. The fancy extras of 1.2 don't appeal to me that much.

Woot had a memorex in November for $139, that's the closest I've seen it get to $100 without having to re-sell anything.

It was until people found out that Memorex does not offer firmware updates on the player.
