Would love to see some more offers for Sound and Vision.

My sub is not up until 2015, but I would love more. It was supposed to be up sooner, but when they cut the number of annual issues, they automatically extended out.

Ok, for those wanting Sound and Vision, Amazon is running a deal for $7 for the year (8 issues). It's autorenew, but you can just cancel that easily using Amazon's subscription manager.

I actually paid for 2 years of PopSci recently. Was only $18 and I couldn't find any freebies. First mag I've paid for outside of EW.

I just did the same even though I had a free online subscription; I hardly ever looked at it online. Nothing beats a hard copy for relaxed reading.

The only magazines I am paying for right now are Wired ($2.99 a year promotion), Men's Health ($8/year), and Men's Journal ($2.99/year)

The best deal I get on EW is to join "yourmusic.com" (the old BMG CD club),. When you buy a CD (A large group to chose from) for $6.99 incl shipping they will take you to the Bizrate site. From there they will offer you up to 4 mag subscriptions at $2.00 each. EW is there allong with Money, Rolling Stone, Kipplinger, Nat Geo Traveler and more. It's run through Synapse. It's an auto renewal but they send you a postcard before expiration and I've always been able to easily cancel. That is best deal I've found.
