I had let my last subscription run out some time back. I'll give it another go for free.

Thanks - glad people keep this thread alive. I don't always have interest in the magazines posted, but some are good and glad to see activity here.

Re: Free Magazines (Updated Daily)

Is anyone still getting their free Maxim magazines from their subscriptions? with all the surveys I did over the years I somehow ended up with two seperate subscriptions to the magazine and the subsriptions didn't end until 2026 and 2032. It got to the point where I was only receiveing every other issue in the mail or at least the skipped some months here and there, But now it's benn months since I've received anything.

Granted their magazine is nothing like what it used to be. It's now some stuffy, high end mens magazine with extremely overpriced produtct advertising. It's more like playboy without the nudes, or snobbier than GQ with very few if any interesting articles.

I'm still getting it. I didn't do it nearly as many times as some people though. My subscription ends in 2019.

I miss when they had real celebrities doing sexy pictorials instead of random models.

I still get it as well, though the magazine is a sad shell of what it once was.. I probably have 3 or 4 issues that I haven't even read yet, as it just does nothing for me anymore. :(

Most magazines are sad shells of their former glory. The print business is dying as Baby Boomers increasingly check out of life.

Rewardsurvey.com currently has the expensive weekly VARIETY (48 issues) free if you have $85 in survey points. The digitial edition is frequently available but this is the first time I've seen the print edition in my three years on the site.

Thanks, Been wanting this one. It wiped out my account balance almost, but there's a survey every week to bring it back up.

Rewardbee.com

This one asks a few super easy survey questions. Not sure if it was mentioned yet. They offered me 25 weeks free of entertainment weekly. Also free GQ, vanity fair, wired and others.

another link with magazines available. Each magazine can be redeemed only once per year.

I got the print edition free for a year sometime early last year. My subscription ended earlier this year... I already get Hollywood Reporter for free, and getting two of those giant magazines every week (in addition to my other regular magazines) was too much for me, so I'm kind of glad it ended... I do love Variety though! But somehow I got on a list for free Hollywood Reporter, and I can renew the free subscription every single year. Been getting it for 4+ years now... So I'll just stick with that one...

I'm loving getting these huge, information and photo packed issues of VARIETY every week (the most recent one had terrific articles and nice tribute ads on director Agnes Varda, who received the Career Academy Award this month) even though they often arrive a week or two after the magazine's date likely due to their big size and being shipped the cheap postage rate for magazine publishers. Still most definitely am not complaining for getting this subscription for free when paying for it would have set us back almost 200 bucks!!

I agree 100 percent,. BTW, if you have interest in Varga you MUST see the new film Faces Places.

Target has a bunch of blu rays that have stickers on the cover that offer a free 1 year subscription to Entertainment Weekly. I picked up Trainwreck for $5, and redeemed the magazine offer. It works, already receiving issues in the mail

Wonder if they will extend the subscriptions since they are only producind half as many now. There were a number of "double" issues already which made them biweekly at times already.

Re: Free Magazines (Updated Daily)

Usually they don't extend the subscription. Playboy didn't extend my sub when they went to 6 issues a year nor did others.

Re: Free Magazines (Updated Daily)

Does any one know - if you get the physical subscription to a magazine - what is the best was to get the digital version and store it. Some newspapers simply let you download a pdf version as long you are a current subscriber. I do that with my Sunday Paper.

I like to keep some magazines for later reading but the paper copies are piling up :) and would be nice to get the digital copy and toss the physical copy.

Would prefer to read off line so hate logging on to software just to read a magazine.

Thanks

Re: Free Magazines (Updated Daily)

I don't think this works for all magazines, but I've linked my physical magazine subscriptions for Wired and Entertainment Weekly to Google Play Newsstand. I believe it allows offline reading.
