Perhaps someone with a better memory then mine can give you the exact month. I do remember it was a very big deal here on this forum.

I guess that error will never happen again.

Too bad.................

I wonder what "while supplies last" means? are they really running out of stock or are they just trying to have some urgency to get people to buy?

Also, the box set "special" was only if you had that particular offer as you default deal, it didn't work with a code.

Could mean they won't be waiting 30 days for TOOS titles to come back in stock, they'll just cancel the order and be done with it. (Course, for those of us who end up with TOOS stuff canceled, it may show up on YourMusic in a month, and joining for 1 month with the free disc offer ain't a bad deal.)

Speaking of TOOS, I had an order show up the other day. There was one item on the printed invoice that was crossed out, with a message "crossed out items are out of stock" stamped on the page. I had a refund on my credit card for that one item. I've never seen that before. It's odd it got printed on the invoice at all. oh well, I've gotten enough deals from them by now, what's one disc?

LOL

They've probably never processed so many orders as within their final month. Now that their business is booming they figure that maybe they can just keep extending the last day. I don't know about the rest of you, but I've been spending like a madman, trying to get that last good deal.

MooMooMooMoo, I've not had any problems with charging my orders. They've only charged me for what they've shipped, the shipments have arrived quickly, and I was refunded quickly for a CD the post office returned by mistake. Titles that are TOOS are not charged unless they get shipped. Also, communication via their website seems to work well.

I'll surely miss them when they close down... if they ever do...

I'm in the same boat as Gemini: lots of orders of various sizes in the past few months, all have arrived fairly quickly with no suspicious or untimely charges on my cc. Over half of them have been jazz cds, though, so that might affect the TOOS factor.

On a separate note, just to chime in on the Box Set Bonanza of late 2008: oh man, what a deal that was. My wife must have thought I had completely lost my mind that month. One of my favorites: the complete Ella Fitzgerald Song Books for $29.33. What a steal...

Yeah... my default offer was stuck on B1G3 so I had to sit on the sidelines envying you guys who were able to get in on it! :(

Re: One & Only BMG Music Service Thread (Part 5)

I've been slowly chipping away @ my 39 free CDs -- all the codes (thanks guys!), the 90% off, and the 70% off with free shipping have lured me into some purchases because the per CD price on some of those are below $3 which is about the same as the $2.76 a "free" CD costs -- and finally got into single digits! Yesterday, I was down to 6. Today, I'm back to 10. What's up with that? Perhaps I will be getting an e-mail that says 4 CDs were TOOS / cancelled and they gave me back 4 free CD credits.

Anyone else experience that? OR, can you actually still EARN free CDs if you buy the *right* things?

Thanks!

Just a heads up...more titles have been added to the clearance section. Keep a lookout for more to start showing up there soon. Happy shopping!

Does the 2/3 codes and 90% off codes still work for everyone? I tried them and they are no longer working... :(

Y911 seems dead. My 90%'s still work, though.

The 90%'s are one-time use codes, but if you've only used one (Y921/Y922), the other should still work.

I guess you have to try and find the .99 cents clearance CDs.

Radiohead

Where are upcoming releases posted on YM? I cannot find them. Do you have to be a member to see them?

I'm curious if the Radiohead release might be the expanded reissues of the earlier albums...

Thanks for the confirm! I was thinking it was 2/08, but wasn't 100% certain.

I put in a $200 order on Thursday. It's still "processing". Also, other then 2 unfulfilled orders from this week, my entire order history on 2 different accounts has been gone from the site for several days.

Re: One & Only BMG Music Service Thread (Part 5)

Everyone uses the acronym TOOS (Temporarily Out Of Stock)... is that the same as when BMG uses "On Backorder" or are they *slightly* different? I have yet to see TOOS, but I get A LOT of "On Backorder" messages under the "Order Status" column -- I either get "Enclosed" or OB.

Now that we're on the final lap, is it safe to guess that any mid-April items that were OB when the rest of the order arrived are never going to show? (I've had a handful of OB items show up about 1-2 weeks after the first group, but no joy when the gap becomes 5-6 weeks)

Thoughts anyone?

Also, if the OB items were Free CDs (from Featured Selection Bonuses, not Codes), have I lost those freebies? Seems like I should be able to at least order something else.
