It's an audiophile forum discussing all aspects of music and recording. The BMG club thread I mentioned is here.
And there is no way to do a search?!According to the site, they have at least 1000 titles, but no where near that many are listed.I might join if I knew for sure that they have some stuff I want..Philip Glass for one.

One drawback of the MHS/JHS clubs is that non-members can only see a small selection of enrollment titles. I am a member, and would be happy to look up any artist or title you need to know about.

I found no Philip Glass.

Thanks for the tip about the JHS club, Manos. What is the average price for members only titles?

Typically about $7.99 or $8.99. The remastered titles go for $9.99 or $10.99. Clearance titles can sell for $4.99.

I've written about the service at the Steve Hoffman forum here, including a description of shipping charges. Since I joined, there have been three offers of free shipping. It pays to wait.

Any codes with free shipping floating around? There's a box set I'm interested in and would love to get it w/o shipping.

From bottom to top:

bmgmusic.com/bmgfreecds

There's no limit to the amount of music points you can redeem. However, you can only redeem them in groups of 19. Thus, you have one CD, and you'll have another free one when you get 14 more.

Yes, you can use two free CDs to order a CD/DVD combo.

Those waiting on FS codes: Doctor X and SBJ don't hold out, so they'll post it ASAP. In other words, begging doesn't help. However, the holiday season is upon us, so there will be plenty of good codes soon.

^Although why you would want to use 2 free CDs to do this escapes me. The "combo" would need to have a regular club price of at least $38 to efficiently use those points since you can get 2 $19 selections for that. I would think these would be better values and maximize savings when ordered using % off codes.

Does this work like CH were you have to buy another in January to get the 2 free or will you just get the 2 free with no other purchase? Cause Buy 1 Get 4 Free now plus 2 free in January would be pretty sweet. It didn't say anything in the details saying you'd have to buy another one in January.

It says:
Make a purchase at bmgmusic.com before December 31, 2007 and you will qualify to receive 2 Free CDs with a CD purchase in January.
It seems to me that you'd have to buy another CD in January to get your 2 free ones, which doesn't seem like such a good offer.

You can get the answer yourself by clicking on the "details" link on the image on the site... Had you done this you would have read in part "...you will qualify to receive 2 Free CDs with a CD purchase in January..." which, in simple terms, means 'yes' you must buy a CD now to get this deal in January, which will be sent as an email link, which means it will NOT stack. Pretty bad deal.

BMG Newbie Question

Is there any way to select the "members only" new release titles for a new enrollment?

Where are the good enrollment links / codes?

Thanks!

No. That would be why they are "Members Only".

Got a link for 60% off and free shipping in my inbox.Went to check out with my 5 free CDs in my cart,BUT,"free shipping"came out to almost $14.00.
So,I guess it is free if you order something that costs money, but if you are cashing in your free CDs,than you DO have to pay shipping.
Not really complaining, since 14 bucks for 5 CDs is a bargain.Still, would have been better if the total was $0.00.
