So, how does this work? THIS is the only restaurant in my area. If I purchase a $50 GC, do I have to spend $100 or only $50 worth of food at the restaurant in order to use the GC? Once I enter my credit card info and hit the Submit button, how do I get the certificate?

I added the $50 GC to my cart and after the coupon code, it came out to $6. What am I missing here?

I didn't see the $50 coupon from your link. However, it will specify the stipulations. I recently used a $10 cert somewhere around here and had to spend $25. The bill for two of us was about $30 and thus paid $20.

After purchase, you will be able to print the certificates whenever you wish to use them. There will be links in your account to do so.

I think what you are looking at is a gift certificate to purchase gift certs with (from restaurant.com). Search by your ZIP code and see what restaurants have GCs for purchase.

Well, I don't see a way to add that $25 GC to my cart here, so I just clicked the "visit our gift center for more options" link below it, which took me here where I was able to select a $50 valued GC (among others). It's confusing.

I could be wrong, but I think those are GCs for Restaurant.com. Meaning, you would use those to buy dining certificates. I don't think you can use those in the restaurants, but I could be wrong.

The restaurant that you want to buy a GC for is sold out for this month, try back on Aug 1st, unfortunately that is after the sale is over.

How did you determine that?

It says it on the Trolley's page:

MORE CERTIFICATES AVAILABLE
AT THE FIRST OF THE MONTH.

That is the location where you should be able to add a GC to that particular restaurant.

Do a search on a different zip code and find a restaurant with some GC's for sale, you will see what I mean.

Yeah... but the way these codes seem to work, I wouldn't be surprised to see a back-to-school code for 50-60% off become available in August.

Good deal. Just picked up a $25 cert for $3 with a $35 min purchase. We usually spend $50 with tax $ tip there so half price is awesome.
Thanks.

You're just being sarcastic right? The 70% vs 60% is only off the certificate price, so just a dollar or two difference.
