wierd...i went through whole process and inputted code for $500 off $1500 and instead of taking off $500 it changed the price from $1502.00 to $19xx and then took off $500. So much for that idea.
edit: Dell Home Customers: Save $462 off this Dell Inspiron E1705! found it. Gay that it says nowhere that you are getting what you are buying cheaper then you insert a coupon and they are like nope sorry we gave you a discount already you didnt know about.

I have used the $500 off $1499 coupon to configure a Dell E1705 and it works for me. The configuration I want comes to $1046 plus shipping and tax (after using the $500 off coupon). I don't know why it wouldn't work for anyone else.
