Samsung 50" DLP 1080p HDTV (HL-S5087W)
All,
Been looking forever at TV's and could never decide between DLP, LCD and Plasma. Went to tons of stores over the last several months and kept looking at pictures etc. etc.. Then this beauty came down in price.
It's $1,499 at outpost.com (Fry's) with FREE Shipping. Cheapest I could find it elsewhere was Amazon for $1649 w/ Free Shipping. Circuit City has this one online for $1,699 so I called them and did a price match so I can pick it up at the local store. Also, all in-store warranties apply that way and if something goes wrong don't have to worry sending it back etc. etc..
Soooo, for $1,499 I think this is a HECK of a deal!!!!
-- okay so I edited to $1,649... you guys happy now ?

www.onecall.com carries it and they are good about price-matching including the free-shipping deal. They also offer zero interest financing for 18 months right now.
I've used them, my two brothers, and father have used them. Reliable and good to deal with.

The picture is IMHO better then Plasma and LCD plus has a higher resolution of 1080p vs. 720p or 1080i which most Plasmas are able to do. Now, you can not hang it on a wall but the unit weighs only 80lbs. And its a LOT cheaper then the other two.
