Dumb question

I have seen numerous references to a "Black Friday" sale which also draws admonitions from the forum administrators not to post any of these prices. I don't want to tread on dangerous ground, but a) what the @#$% is "Black Friday" and b) where can I find links to it? Thanks.
Scott

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving. It's generally when you can find good deals on items. We can only discuss it once the ads are officially released.

How do people get on the internet and not know how to use a search engine...here, yahoo or google? It is so much quicker to do a 30 sec search for answers to simple generic questions, then to start a thread and wait for others to answer.

Cut the guy some slack. He only joined DVDtalk 4 years ago.

Oh I know....I'm sure the OP is a nice guy and probably had a brain fart or something....but type in black friday into google and in 30 sec you get definitions and information galore. One doesn't have to be very internet savy to know how to use a search engine. It's a head scratcher

I still don't understand this site's paranoia over it. There's plenty of other sites that list the sales in advance every year.

I believe that Geoff was threatened with legal action in the past for allowing BF ads on the site. BTW, nice bargain.
