Where to get cheap candy?

I'm looking for movie style boxes of candy. I've found a few places that sell them online, but they're either more than I want to pay or shipping kills the deal. Anyone know a good place to find boxes of Jujubes, Dots, Junior Mints and such for 50-60 cents a box?

Wait for Rite Aid or Walgreens to have a sale, and get a raincheck when you buy out their stock. If you're looking to stock up, it may even be worth a shot to ask the manager what kind of deal he can give you on a case. You have nothing to lose by asking!

Get a membership at a Wholesale Club. IE; Sam's, BJ's, Costco...

Get a free 1-day pass and see what they got. These are great places to get candy in bulk at a discount. Plus a lot of it is in the movie/fundraiser style packaging.

I tried Costco, they didn't have what I was looking for. I'll have to give Sam's a try.

Sam's club is pretty good in the candy department.

I grab their 5lb bag of Jolly Ranchers on occasion.

Check your local wholesaler(s) for candy & snacks, to see if they'll sell to people off the street. Our local wholesaler does ... they may not where you live, but it never hurts to ask.

Is there a warehouse district in your city (where restaurants buy their produce, fish and meats, etc. early AM)? If so, they may also have a candy wholesaler.
