It seems that some of these 'free' offers are really just single issue trials. With two that I ordered from links found here (Budget Living and Stuff) I received a post card thanking for my order and telling me the sub price I will be charge if I don't send back the card signed.

I have never had that happen and i receive budget living and 15 other mags all free signups... be wary they make those renewals seem like bills.
