B&M or online. Any ideas?

Which one in particular? I bought mine online from a Tag dealer... i'd make sure it has the serial numbers in tact and certs of auth. At a B&M you can ALWAYS haggle, however, you'll have to pay tax

I got my Tag from Ashford.com. Way cheaper than retail.

I was looking at the Link Automatic Chronograph. List price was around $2695. Any ideas what a reasonable amount would be to haggle? Not sure what the markup is.

I went to the mall today and asked for the 'best' price i could get for the watch; the sales person said the most he could give me was $300 off the $2695 list price. He claimed that they were an Authorized Dealer and so on. How important is it for me to get this from an AD?

I checked the prices on Amazon and the discount was anywhere from 30-33%, but they were not and Authorized Dealer.

When I was looking around for mine lowest I could get in a B&M was $2400 out the door. I ended up going online, through a non authorized dealer. It's the exact same watch, with serial numbers, certificates, box, etc. Actually, it's even "newer" than the B&M because the watch wasn't handled by people trying on the watch, etc.

I got mine from WatchMaxx.com for $1671.00 shipped after I called them directly to haggle more.

Up to 40% off at Ashford, plus an additional 10% off coupon:

http://dealnews.com/deals/Ashford-co...es/103866.html

Final price on the CJF2111.BA0576 (didn't see the CJF2110) would be $1574.10 shipped free.

I got the watch today at Macy's. 15% from opening an account + 15% discount on all fine watches (today only) + 10% cash back in form of a gift card. The only thing was that only the discount from opening the account was upfront. The second 15% will be taken off when I get my bill and the 10% cash back will come in January/February.

Thanks for all the help and ideas.

BTW I looked at getting this from Ashford, but the possibility of having the serial numbers removed steered me away: "Authenticity: Ashford.com buys and sells only New and Genuine Brand Name Watches purchased directly from established dealers and other watch distributors. This watch may have had its serial numbers removed since leaving the original authorized manufacturer; therefore, as a result of state laws in certain states, is deemed SECONDHAND and/or USED."
