Very hot prices on Verbatim DVD-DL, -R +R 16x and more at Staples
Staples has just clearanced their Verbatim 3 pack and 10 pack discs.
Examples:
Dual Layer 3 pack = $5.50 ($1.83 a disc!)
dvd+r or dvd-r 10 pack 16x = $2.50 ($12.50 for 50!)
dvd+r 10 pack lightscribe = $3.50 ($17.50 for 50!)
cd-r 10 pack lightscribe = $2.50 ($12.50 for 50)
These are fantastic prices for high quality discs. My Staples had lots of them left today.
Ignore the in-store price stickers if they are listed higher. These will scan at the prices listed above nationwide.

Um, by the way, you have to have a DVD burner that can handle dual-layer DVDs, right? You can't just assume your DVD burner can handle them unless your burner specifically states that it is dual-layer capable, right?

Thanks for the heads-up OP! I'm gonna head out to staples after work.

Every store in Manhattan is sold out. I just got the last one here. They all knew about it apparently...which sucks. One guy said he put out a ton of them this morning and someone came in and bought almost all of them. They were gone almost immediately. *sigh*
Isn't this a sign that they need to drop the goddamn prices on these things???
In any case, would anyone be able to pick me up a few? I will pay you for your trouble...plus throw in a few extras for good boys and girls.

I struck out on the Verbatim sale in Madison, WI (both stores), but I did pickup a few spindles from their Fuji sale.
"Made in Japan" does indeed mean TY. And I just checked them in my DVD-ROM and they are indeed TY discs. Not a bad deal at all.
