Cheap frisbees?

Anyone know where to get relatively cheap frisbees? My wife wants to buy some for her class, but doesn't want to pay 4 bucks a pop at toys r us. Any places to buy in bulk, besides ebay?

how old are the kids? You can get 175g ultimate discs for $3/ea from discraft.com for a juniors program, but these discs are big for a small kid. http://www.discraft.com/forms/juniors.pdf

they also have a 125g Sky-Pro that would be better for small kids, but I can't find a price. You could call them at 248-624-2250 or email them at [email protected]

You know there are plenty of tiny kinds that could handle an Ultra-Star (175g). Of course, these tend to be kids where that was their first toy.

Anyhow, here's another vote for Discraft. The best thing is when you're done, these will still be usable. Assuming you don't play on hard surfaces.*

Was going to say "...do play on grass" but felt that left a joke on the table.

2 at least. It was the use of the word "disc" instead of frisbee that gave it away, huh?

stevevt is right, I've seen 3 year olds with wicked throws using a full size disc. But they're the excpetion for sure.

thanks for the suggestions! I was initially looking for cheap, .99 cents ones, but I'll look into the 3 dollar ones if they're more durable/better quality.

I was at Frostbreaker one year when I was playing college and there was a pickup game made up of some of the player's kids (5-13 i would guess). Many of them had better throws than our rookies.

I second the PetSmart suggestion. You could always spray-paint over the logo.

they have frisbees for $.94 at Walmart. They were in the pet section. Had a sticker that could easily be removed.
