they sent me a renewal letter back in may and i just threw it out. next thing i know, i received a letter in the mail about a month later stating that they renewed my membership for a year at no cost. attached to the letter was a coupon for double points as well.

I don't think I've ever received an e-mail from them - maybe I should check and see which address they have. Anyway, I had been declining renewal offers for months in hopes of getting it comped, but my membership was set to expire at the end of July while I was going to be on vacation (and not near a BB), so I went ahead and renewed before I left.

i've only noticed emails starting to show up regularly ever since they upgraded the myrewardzone.com website. before that time i hardly ever received an email from best buy.
