This club just influenced which new DVD player I bought. I never thought any dvd audio format really mattered to me, since I don't spend $20 on a CD. But this club makes a few SACDs so cheap, it's worth getting an SACD-enabled DVD player, so I got a Sony. Just ordered Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and Slowhand and can't wait to try them out.

Well, I started this thread, and joined a few days ago. Bought 16 disks, and put another years worth into a queue. Many of the CDs are discounted to 13 or 14 dollars at most CD discount sites, so at 6 bucks a pop - can't be beat. The collections are phenomenal. I purchased the Led Zepplin complete studio recordings, and I am really looking forward to listening to those. And at $60 for the set, it is less than 1/2 of what Best Buy charges at a discount. I hope that service is reasonable.

Been very happy with YourMusic.com as well. Shipping is a little slow, but because it's free, it's going to be Media Mail. I would suggest that items you really want and especially SACDs and Dualdiscs that you do not put them in your queue but buy them immediately. At these prices, why risk them selling out? Though on the plus side, if you don't load up your queue but just put a couple of items in there, if your items are out of stock they will not bill you for that month.

How can I tell which versions are SACD's, which are DVD-Audios, which are regular cd's?

If it's just by looking at the picture, that seems a little strange.

It's a regualr CD unless it says otherwise. For example:
James Carter Gardenias For Lady Day (SACD Hybrid)

Makes sense, but what about titles like this?

Do you think we can trust the the pictures are correct?
It might be best to e-mail them with any questions before buying, I suppose.

Don't trust the pictures. I'm fairly sure that's a cd.

If that picture is accurate, it's a "single-layer" SACD, not a Hybrid SACD. That means it will ONLY play in an SACD player, not a regular CD player. I doubt BMG is selling single-layer SACDs, they'd be getting a ton of returns on that title.

Don't trust the pictures! I ordered James Taylor "JT" as an experiment since the picture was clearly an SACD. I got the remastered CD which I gave to my mom.
