I tried Ridata DVD+R but I have never tried Office Depot Brand which as you state are made by Ritek. I'm going to have to try it first before buying that many. Thanks for posting the offer.

As per Nero InfoTool they are RITEKG04 Discs. I've used about 300 so far with no problems. Great discs!

I'm going into the store tomorrow to pick up mine. Thanks for the heads up!!! I just ordered mine.

The $10 off via payment with Visa coupon will work with Visa debit cards too.

FYI:

Select Office Depot DVD media is 50% off through March 5th as per the latest store flyer.

100-PK DVD+R 682-136 $34.99 50% OFF Reg. $69.99
100-PK DVD-R 681-264 $34.99 50% OFF Reg. $69.99

The discount(s) will show up when you check out, not in the cart. I was concerned about this too.

I've been trying this and the cart keeps dumping them, telling me 0 are available at this time, so I'm guessing they aren't allowing backordering?

First off, I could never get it to work for me having it shipped. Getting it to work at the store pickup was tricky at best, but my status has changed to "delivered". I had to keep switching to "delivery" then back to "store pickup", select a store to try, then add the items back each time it would "dump me" by either having not enough in stock at that store, or having the wrong price at that store.

I had to try several stores in my area. Some had plenty, but kept it at the $10 price, others had "0 available" and would show the $5.49 price. I finally found some with stock, some stores only had 2 or 4, but I found one in San Antonio (driving there this afternoon, but going 20 minutes out of my way seems worth it at this point) that had at least the 19 (who knows how many are left after me).

I see why 19 is the magic number, to allow the $10 off coupon to be used because the total will be barely over the $50 coupon minimum after the 50% has been taken. Though using just the 50% coupon on a few sets if that is all your store has would seem worth it if you use these.

My coupon total seems different than yours. Did you not use a visa (I used a check card) and get that discount?

This deal only works (for me at least) for pickups. My local store(s) only had a total of 4, but there are a few other nicely priced DVD packs. I ended up getting:

682056 $5.49/pack 4 = $21.96
Office Depot® DVD+R Media Spindle, 4.7GB, Pack Of 15

774072 $9.99/pack 2 = $19.98
DVD+RW,OD,4X,25-PK,SPINDL

681920 $6.49/pack 4 = $25.96
Office Depot® DVD-R Media With Slim Jewel Cases, 4.7GB, Pack Of 15

682528 $4.99/pack 8 = $39.92
Office Depot® DVD+R Media With Slim Jewel Cases, 4.7GB, Pack Of 10

Subtotal: $107.82
Delivery Charge: $0.00
Coupon: $-63.91
Estimated Taxes: $2.42
Total: $46.33

Which comes out to 250 recordable discs for $46.33. Nice deal. Thanks!

EDIT - Wanted to add that I've used many Office Depot disks in the past and have found them to be of very high quality. And also wanted to mention that I have no idea what the second item I ordered is (DVD+RW,OD,4X,25-PK,SPINDL). Looks like a 25 pk of DVD+RW, but no other description is available. While I'm not sure exactly what they are, I thought it was worth a chance on getting 50 DVD+RWs for under $10.

STAND BY FOR PROBLEMS!!!

I just checked my order status (online) and that item number is now assigned to

Classix Traditional Rubber Stamp

It shows I've got 19 of them ready to pickup (growl)

When you pull up the DVD-R listings on the site.. son-o*******un, there in the middle of the discs.. RUBBER STAMPS!

This does not bode well... I'll pick them up in an hour or so...

Well I checked my local store, and they have only 12, but with the 50% Off Coupon the total comes out to be $35.25. That is 180 discs and a great deal when I just purchased 100 discs for $39.99 at Sams a couple weeks ago.

Placed my order and it was cancelled 10 minutes later. I received a call from Office Depot telling me the coupons are invalid. Anyone know the exact restrictions on these coupons?

Do you actually need a coupon?
The coupon is on the back of this weeks OD flyer...

Why would you need a coupon, if your CC has already been charged? Sounds like sour grapes at the local store......

-----------------------------------------------

SECOND UPDATE: I just got off the phone with the Manager from Office Depot and she claims that I can not have them for the price as listed on their website because it already reflects 50% off, when I told her the others did not, she refused to let me have them. I told her the online coupon code entered was from the Sunday paper. I asked, what if I was in the store and the wrong price was on the shelf, she said she would honor the price on 1 but not on 12.

I have a receipt showing 12 / 15pks for $35.25 and the store will not honor them.

-----------------------------------------------

THIRD UPDATE: Office Depot just called back again and now she claims she called the corporate office and they have instructed her not to honor the item because there is an error in their system.

My update: I just picked up my order and they did not ask for a coupon. I got everything at the prices indicated on the website. Quick and painless.

Thanks again OP for the posting!

Do you have a glitch?

It seems that you automatically get a 50% Off discount without using a coupon.

On top of that you use the coupon (82911916) which it's a mistake because that's what will give you the discount in the first place.

Maybe the fixed the problem now and it's not working for some of us.

This is what I get:

$10.99/Pack X 19 = $208.81

50% Off Coupon = $113.54

$10 Off VISA = $ $102.66

TOTAL = $102.66 (It seems that you got an extra 50% Off Glitch Website)

Are you using in-store pickup? That is the only way I was able to both use the 50% off coupon and still get the 50% prices. While my store only had 4 of the 25 packs, I did get them at 5.49 each. But it only works after choosing in-store pickup (instead of delivery).

i tried ordering 6 of the OfficeDepot DVD-RWs (25 pack) which came out to 51.97, after discounts. On Tuesday, when i received my items (opted for free delivery) i found that they sent me 6 OD DVD-Rs (50 pack) instead.
300 DVD-Rs for < $52? i can't complain.
