It will not be live until noon eastern. You can see it in one of their banners. I'm glad there are others on this site interested in this release. I'm looking forward to it despite already having two separate bd releases of Chainsaw 2.

I've got five more minutes until 11 and curious to see what the releases will be. I have TCM2 on bluray and have only watched it once so no need to buy the new release.

Don't open until Christmas sounds intriguing. I'm always down for more Christmas horror movies.

Yeah, I'm only going for TCM 2 and Werewolf vs Vampire Woman.

I ordered TCM 2 and added The Incredible Melting Man and The Amityville Curse to get to a hundred. The hardcase and slip for TCM 2 increases the price another 8 bucks but I went ahead and ordered it. I was surprised at how many new special features there are when the Shout Factory two disc set already had a ton, in my opinion.

From today's newsletter:
Now, an important update regarding 2023 VS Subscriptions: We will no longer be selling Annual Subscriptions during our Black Friday sale. Instead, 2023 will see the introduction of what we are calling, Subscriber Week! The first seven days of the new year will be a celebration of all things VS (especially since it will mark our 10 year anniversary!). We will be offering Annual Subscriptions during this seven day period, along with all kinds of other goodies and deals. The Subscription itself will be just as awesome as ever. Watch for more info to come!

I'll probably sign up for a subscription again. I actually prefer that it will be sold at the beginning of the year rather than Black Friday.

Should have TCM2
by Thursday. Looking forward to revisiting. It’s such a guilty pleasure of mine. Totally absurd in every way imaginable. Loved it.

Awesome lists of extras for the Road House Set. Plenty of new interviews and ports over most of the existing extras from previous releases. I wish they could have found some deleted scenes.

Freeway!

Can't say I want that one myself. One viewing was enough.

More Rothrock too.
I’d like to grab Freeway. Maybe during the next sale when it’s discounted.

2023:
And while you're here, indulge in an exclusive taste of what we have in store for 2023:
In January, we'll be delving back into Category III horror, with a box set featuring a trio of gruesome shockers, in addition to the UHD debut of an iconic 80s gore-fest, a whacked out regional creature film, and one of the best exploitation-horror hybrids to come out of the wilds of Mexican genre cinema (it's been the talk of the VS office and the film we're most excited for).
Then in February, we've got another blood soaked delight from Hong Kong along with a melty treat of American folk horror, in addition to a psychotic - yet beautiful - slice of Eastern Euro sci-fi!
March is shaping up to offer a box set celebrating one of Mexico's most acclaimed genre film directors, including new 4K restorations of some of his most iconic works, along with UHDs of a late 90s indie shocker and an 80s Italian-American gore-fest.
The rest of the year will bring disc (including several BD & UHD) debuts of plentiful Slasher rarities, some of which have never (legally) made it off tape, plus more 70s and 80s Exploitation and Horror (from the US and Europe), more regional weirdness, more Hong Kong action and horror, and of course more Gialli! Plus, in honor of our 10th anniversary, we're working on an epic box set that will speak both to the origins and history of VS and champion the type of way-out, forgotten films we were founded on releasing. We guarantee this set will defy expectations.

I can't say I'm bowled over by the remaining Black Friday reveals. And since the most recent volume of Forgotten Gialli missed the discount window, it looks like Road House will be shipping solo!

In addition to my Road House pre-order I got Dead Heat, Don't Open til Christmas, Blue Ice, and the Tammy and the Trex slipcover. I was getting the Dead Heat with the slipcover but had it in my cart and it was sold out by the time I checked out.

The quality of the Road House UHD is phenomenal. Watched it last night (first time! I know...) and it was great. Some really nice... assets... on display.

The VS website goes back online tomorrow at noon (eastern time) for the start of Subscribers Week. I think they are supposed to have a new release revealed everyday for the next ten days.

re: The Official Vinegar Syndrome Thread
1/1 - 4 Vinegar Syndrome; 1 VSU; 9 partner label titles (including a new partner label)
1/2 - 1 VSA
1/3 - 1 VSL (Vinegar Syndrome Labs; a new sub-label)
1/4 - 1 Peekarama
1/5 - Merch day
1/6 - 1 VSL
1/7 - 1 VSA
So that's 4 VS, 2 VSA, 2 VSL, 1 VSU, and 1 Peekarama -- 10 total titles from Vinegar Syndrome in 7 days, plus the partner label stuff. The VSL titles will be horror/fantasy but "from a time and place we've never before explored".
They're enabling "add to my existing order" through 1/7, so you can poke your head in every day and not have to worry about crazy shipping prices.

So these will be 50% off in November, not May, right?

Re: The Official Vinegar Syndrome Thread
I think so. For the Black Friday sale, the cutoff was anything released July or after. If the same holds true here, anything released prior to January should be eligible for 50% off in May, but January titles will have to wait till November.

Re: The Official Vinegar Syndrome Thread
Some teases for 2023:
In 2023, we're confident your mind will be blown even further as we dig deeper into the rarest, weirdest, craziest, and most unexpected genre cinema ever made! By now you've hopefully checked out the January slate and have a good idea of what's to come, with the first of numerous outrageous gems from Hong Kong, kicking off this month with a delectable set containing DEMON'S BABY, EROTIC NIGHTMARE, and THE DEADLY CAMP, along with one of the craziest Mexican exploitation films ever made, THE INFERNAL RAPIST, the high concept Michigan creature feature, FROSTBITER and, not to be outdone, the UHD debut of Stuart Gordon's classic FROM BEYOND! As the year rolls on, look out for the BD debut of regional chillers like CURSE OF THE BLUE LIGHTS (1985), exclusive new restorations of 80s horror classics like THE DEVONSVILLE TERROR, never-on-disc 70s drive-in favorites like ARNOLD (1972), along with plentiful Gialli, Mexican exploitation and horror, our first ever Brazilian release, never-on-disc Slashers and much more! Also, as this year marks our 10th anniversary, we're preparing a mega, 10-film collection which brings together an array of exploitation insanity you never dreamed you could see!
On the UHD front, we're upping our game even further, with a killer assortment of films ranging from Gialli to Slashers to monsters to a notorious early Euro gore-fest!

The 10 for $10 is a really neat idea. I managed to order Trauma (1993) with the Limited Edition Slipcover this way.
Looking forward to seeing what else they put up in next 6 days in that deal.
I also picked up Freeway (1996) & Invisible Maniac (1990)
