So do you think that this new release will be the same as the PBS Vincent Price Collection set? Or will it
be an upgrade? And will there be more to follow?

The Vol. 1 set release that included this movie had an intro by Price. It won’t be on this release. Also previously, this movie only included the theatrical cut. This release will include the extended. I don’t know if the picture/audio is the same or remastered.

I would hope that they would at least do The haunted Palace. If they were to release another.

Well, I went ahead and ordered it. Is it a newer print? I guess I will be finding out pretty soon. I'm taking a chance on it. Hopefully it will be worth it.
Yes there is an extended cut on it, but it looks like it's only a minute longer..which amounts to nothing great. But I'm giving it a shot.

I have the original Vincent Price set. I pre-ordered the SF "Masque", but upon consideration, I'm probably going to drop it. It sounds like the Studio Canal might be more promising, though I'll wait for reviews.

I'm guessing all Shout is doing is just re-releasing them, including Red Death. I doubt any of them got remastered.

Sorry to say, I did cancel the Red death order. Too much uncertainty on what is going on with it. I could reorder it at a later date if it turns out to be an upgraded print. But since I have the Price blurry set already, I can afford to wait and see how this release turns out.
