Re: The Official Arrow Blu-ray Thread

It seems Amazon UK is having a bit of an Arrow sale, a handful of titles are £8.99 including Eaten Alive, Zombie Flesh Eaters 2 and Tenebrae among others. I can't seem to find a list anywhere of all the ones on sale.

I dug through most of Amazon UK and I put together a list of what was on sale. I might be missing a few, but these are the ones to note. There are also a few titles that are priced that way for Amazon UK Prime Members, so I left those off.

£7.99

Class of Nuke Em High
The Exterminator
Baron Blood

£8.99

Massacre Gun
Retaliation
Branded To Kill
The Happiness of the Katakuris
Invasion of the Body Snatchers
Bound
Big Trouble in Little China
Pit Stop
Dressed To Kill
Madman
Rollerball
Tenebrae
Night of the Comet

Just spotted these recent posts now, but since these titles have been in those price ranges for quite a while now, it's probably worth noting that most of them are part of their ongoing 3/£20 sale which makes them even cheaper. Be aware, though, that some titles seem to get rotated out of the sale, then back in again:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/b/ref=amb_li...d_i=B0055D2KQ4

Others:
Forbidden Zone
Who Dares Wins

Also, Arrow's editions of The Funhouse and The Conformist part of a 2/£10 sale:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=sr_pg_...qid=1458538964

Finally, a bunch more (Videodrome, Sheba Baby, Mutilator, Blood Rage, Koyannisqatsi, Powaqatsi, Tenderness of the Wolves, Five Dolls) are part of a 2/£25 sale, but on these it might be better to wait until Arrow's sales on their own site where they'll inevitably be a lot less in time.

Let me know what you think of the Audio, Old boy. I have the Capelight Steelbook and I want to know if the Arrow version is worth the upgrade since the Audio on the Capelight version sucks.

It has been improved over the Capelight release.

David Mackenzie confirmed he did additional work on the audio for the Arrow release.

I just saw that Amazon lowered theirs from 39.99 to 33.03. I wonder if the people that got it on release day got shafted and stuck with the 39.99 price that it has been for the past several days.

Just a heads up. Best Buy still has the Bride of the Reanimator available to order for 27.99 plus tax/shipping.
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpa...=960&keys=keys

It says not available for shipping now and it wasn't at a store within 250 miles of my location.

Sorry about that. They must have sold their allotment. At least Amazon has brought theirs down to a little more reasonable price.

It must have hit $27.99 at some point on Amazon because I pre-ordered it back in January and that was the price I got it for.

Yeah, you are right. I considered pre-ordering it a month or two ago and decided to hold off. Then when I checked the other day and it was 39.99, I decided to look elsewhere for it and got it from Best Buy. I should have just pre-ordered it in the first place.

Remind me again what the best bet for the original Re-Animator on BD is?

I originally pre-ordered it at 27.99 at Amazon, but then I was able to get it for 25.50 (or thereabouts) at a recent Deep Discount sale. After a few days I cancelled the Amazon order. Six hours later DD e-mailed a cancellation of my order. I immediately re-upped at Amazon for 27.99. Not only that, I took the "no rush" shipping option for the $1 credit, and they shipped it "Two-Day" anyway.
