He chops, he dices, he purees! Jackie Chan has the recipe for delicious action-comedy entertainment when he plays a celebrity TV chef caught in a deadly dispute between rival Australian crime lords.
With Chan in the kitchen, you know there'll be more pow! than kung pao, and the irrepressible star does not disappoint. Take a look at the in-one-door, out-the-other fight sequence staged at a construction site and you'll discover what we mean. Just when you think you've seen it all, along comes Chan with something new. Then something newer. The breathtaking, lightning-quick fun and excitement just might have you shouting, "Nice kick! Nice spin! Nice move!" He is, after all, Mr. Nice Guy.

Nice to see the announcement for this yesterday. Also nice to retire my VCD of the uncut version!
Hopefully they'll consider Blu releases of some of their other Golden Harvest holdings, albeit with proper subtitles at the very least. Their archive series of those titles pretty much went cold ages ago, no doubt in small part due to complaints about dubtitles. I'm sure a Jackie Chan film is a guaranteed seller compared to others in the GH catalog, but hopefully it sells well enough to justify some more releases, or at least some more uncut Chan shows like Rumble In The Bronx or First Strike.

Hopefully they don't leave the small amount of non English dialog unsubbed.
If they get it right, I'd love to see similar treatment for Rumble and First Strike. We also need Who Am I, but I'm not sure who owns those rights.

I’ll probably wait for a WB Archive sale where it’s down to around $11.
