Not a fan of the pop art steelbooks so I cancelled my pre-order, and since it's a Fox title I'll just wait for the price drop.

You're right. I was thinking this was in X-Men universe instead of the Spider-man universe. Sony doesn't usually drop as quickly, but I'll still wait. I only pay full price when I'm buying the steelbooks.

Spider-Man Homecoming dropped fairly quickly compared to the Disney owned Marvel releases. That said, missed this in theaters and will rent it.

The standard 4k looks far better. Yet another PopArt fail. I wish stores/studios would stop using those hacks. Then we would have a better chance of getting some good looking exclusive releases again.

question...i preordered the SteelBook™. it came with a digital copy that already redeemed. what happens if i just cancel the preorder?

I mean I know amazon and Vudu can delete movies from your account and tied to other accounts, but can fandango?
I guess it would be unscrupulous, but doesn’t make sense to get digital copy week early if you preorder Blu-ray. Why wouldn’t everyone cancel?

My Best Buy had this out way early today and had about 50 of the steelbooks stacked on the floor along with the 4k regular edition and i tried to buy one and it went through just fine.

I mean I know I got digital copy for free and many extras and never wanted SteelBook Blu-ray except for extras, but most retained in vudu. But, I’m not really one of those guys...
