Won't You Be My Neighbor (Blu ray) Why Is it So Hard to Find?

I couldn't find "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" on Blu ray via Amazon except secondhand. And DVD price search only lists two places that carry it new. Maybe I've been out of the movie collecting game and I don't know how things work, but wouldn't the highest grossing documentary of the year would have more venues to purchase it on Blu ray?

Also should I buy it now, or do you think the price will go down in the future? Is it a limited edition thing?

My guess is they just vastly underestimated demand. I pre-ordered it from Amazon nearly a month and a half ago just before release, and it’s still backordered.

I thought it was only released on dvd. I still haven't seen it but I would buy the bluray if I can find it.

I just bought a digital version, seeing as the Blu-ray is bare bones. There's not even a top menu on it.

Really? Wow, I may go that route, too.

My copy arrived yesterday. Ordered it on 9/1, three days before release. At least I got a 37-cent rebate for pre-order price guarantee plus my $1 digital credit for Prime slow shipping!

I just wish they'd put out more of the original show. I got that set that Target has been selling, but the frame rate is messed up on it.

There's currently a Roku app with Mr. Rogers shows on it which is probably unauthorized, they're also at the wrong frame rate but one of the shows is from 1975 where he brings in a "video tape machine" (Sony U-Matic deck) and magically plays back moments from past shows. I did some screengrabs of it. He did the same thing a bit later next to a literal cabinet full of tapes, that's part of what started my sickness

Do you think the price will go up or down on this release? On one hand, it's a smaller title. On the other it's the highest grossing documentary of the year. (Help!)

Please don't blame Mr. Roger's for your challenges, come on.

It's hard to tell.

With Focus Features/Universal titles, I've seen some eventually lower in price (Nocturnal Animals) and some aggressively hold their high Release Day Pricing (Tully).

The DVD is currently $10 as a part of Target's Black Friday Sales.

Hopefully this is a sign that the Blu-Ray will drop in price in the near future!
