Yeah, Black Cauldron, Saludos Amigos, and Three Caballeros have all been available in HD from digital providers (iTunes-only, at first) since at least 2013 or so.

I somehow never noted that - seeing that Disney will never ever release 'The Black Cauldron' on bluray, I'm very tempted to purchase this digitally.

If I were doing that, I'd buy it on VUDU. During the week that T-Mobile Tuesdays has VUDU credits ($5.50), you can buy them on slickdeals for $1 each (limit 1 per account, though). Combine that with 2 other VUDU promo credits that you can usually get for $3 for a $5 credit on various Google Plus communities, and you can get $15.50 worth of VUDU credit for $7.

And then, of course, it ports out to other providers via MA.

There's very little chance of that, but not quite none. They did release the uncut version with Walt and El Grupo a couple of years back on DVD.

The next Signature Collection title will be Peter Pan for its 65th Anniversary, on June 5. No other details available yet.

Return to Neverland will be released on the same day as a DMC exclusive.

Same previous release, new slip cover.

I mean, what effort do they need to do?

It would be great if they did a new transfer of the movie that restored the original color scheme. The color change is pretty drastic in this case.

I doubt it at this point. Seems like they’re just recycling the same old stuff with different cover art.

Just how awful was Return to Neverland? I've been curious about some of these sequels they did.

I always considered the direct to video sequels to be garbage, and never bothered with them.

Return to Neverland was released theatrically.

Was it any good or on par with the other direct to video sequels?

I got it dirt cheap during the Hastings going out of business sale. I thought it was decent for a sequel.

My best guess for a release date for this is Jan. 30.

You can't buy this directly at their site or another Disney site or the Ebay scalpers have them?

Disney Movie Club exclusive. There are lots of the titles that fit into the same category. And if you want them, most (if not all) of them are available to use as selections if you join the club, so why pay ebay prices?

I know it's not animated, but I'm curious if The Black Hole has Bluray release via the Movie Club?

Next year will be the 40th anniversary I think, so I would expect it by then.

Holes was the latest announced DMC exclusive, but they've release a bunch in the past few months like Snow Dogs, Jungle 2 Jungle, Mighty Joe Young (remake), Freaky Friday (original & remake), and Parent Trap (original & remake) along with the previously mentioned Saludos/Cabelleros 2 pack. At less than $10 a pop, it's worth joining, just make sure you use the right promo code to get the best deal.

Not yet. Same with 20,000 Leagues. But both of those might be popular enough that they would get a non-exclusive blu-ray release. In fact I'm hoping they get some kid of normal Anniversary/SE release because most of the DMC exlcusives have been totally bare bones.

Personally I'm hoping George of the Jungle comes out soon given the DVD of that one was a fullscreen disaster. The DVD's of The Black Hole and 20,000 Leagues are actually quite good.

If you asked around somebody that is a member might be willing to add one to an order. With the standard buy 1 and get the rest at half price these exclsuives typically can be had for around $14 including shipping & tax.

I try to do a a yearly viewing of The Black Hole and I agree the DVD is still pretty good. But it does show its flaws on a 60” display, so I’m hopeful for a Bluray next year.
