My replacement set arrived today. It probably helped that it coincided with another Blu-ray and a Switch game shipping out at the same time because this one was delivered with those other items in a box by UPS. Even with these added measures, one of the corners was still damaged - but at least it didn't look like an elephant sat on it as with the first set. This was supposed to be a gift so I can't say I'm completely satisfied with the condition, but a third one is probably not going to look any better than this so I might as well take what I have at this point.

My second set came in yesterday.
It was in another bag like the first one.
This time while there was some smushed corners it wasnt nearly as bad as the first one.

I have no need for two of these now have to figure out who how to sell the parts.

My second set arrived today and it was more beat up than the first one in another padded mailer. Called customer service and they refunded half the cost and I'm shipping the most beat up one back. For $43, I'll deal as I got it more for the actual content as opposed to an investment or as a collector

I saw one in store at WM today. Was pretty beat up.

Can anyone provide a picture of the "inner" box next to normal Blurays? I'm tying to see if it fits with my shelf or waiting to go with the regular version.

I received mine on Sat. and it was pretty messed up. I called Amazon customer service to send me a replacement in a box. It came today in perfect condition. I am going to return the previous order in the same envelope mailer.

Got mine from Target today, in a box with padding.

Mine came out to $72.49, but I ordered fairly late so they may have increased the price a bit by the time I ordered. Mine dispatched on Saturday as well.

Mine is in transit to be delivered Saturday. It's being delivered by I-Parcel and finally dropped off by UPS. I got the UPS prompt that asked me if I wanted to upgrade it to UPS Innovations or something for an added $3.50 charge, which would make the set get here just 1 day earlier on Friday. Nah, Saturday is fine. I'm in no hurry.

I had one copy from Target and one from Amazon, and both were beat up. Target came in a box but with very little packing material, and Amazon came in an envelope. I just picked the one that looked the best and returned the other.

Sad that the outside cardboard is so flimsy.

Just received a cancellation of the standard edition that is supposed to come out on Nov 27 from Best Buy. Said that the item is no longer available. I guess it is a good thing I found a pristine copy of the limited at Wal-Mart last night.

I think Warner didn't anticipate how well this show would sell on Blu-ray. It was only after the movies sold so well for Warner Archive that they finally gave the go-ahead on this set.

Received an e-mail from Vudu today with a new digital copy code that added the HD copies of the episodes and the Phantasm and Sub-Zero movies.

Yeah, a buddy got his Digital HD copies from VUDU.

My BBY order just got shipped even though it had said 12/8. Looking forward to seeing what I get in the mail after reading this thread, lol.

Got an updated shipping notification from UPS that my UK set will get here tomorrow instead of Saturday, so that rocks.

I haven't redeemed the digital copy yet, so are they now showing up in HD and now with the movies?

Decided to redeem the code. Was thinking about selling it, but changed my mind.

Yup, it's now digital HD copies of the entire series and the 2 Batman animated series movies.

Very cool. So now I can mix and match and watch some when I'm away from home.

So, the code in the set is now able to access the HD versions? I haven't redeemed mine 'cause I thought they were suppose to email an updated code.
