Finding Dory - 11/15/16

The film's playful and plentiful bonus offerings include "Piper," the theatrical short film starring an irresistible sandpiper hatchling; an all-new mini short featuring interviews with Dory's pals from the Marine Life Institute; a behind-the-scenes look at the most challenging character Pixar has ever created; never-before-seen deleted scenes, including a digital exclusive featuring the Tank Gang from "Finding Nemo" who make it their mission to get Marlin and Nemo to the Marine Life Institute; and much, much more.

Oh yeah, I'm buying the 3D version definitely. I would have preferred a Steelbook, packaging if it were available, but no way that trumps the 3D copy.

Re: Finding Dory - 11/15/16

I was debating whether or not to pick this up this week, then I saw it will be on sale Black Friday, so hopefully I can get it next week. Hoping that Amazon matches the $10 Target price.

It's already down to $15 on Amazon and Walmart, which is pretty crazy for a first week Pixar release.

Best Buy too.

Pretty annoyed - I was on the fence about the blind buy but picked it up for 19.99. I guess I'll call to get it adjusted but I hate talking to those people.

I wasn't planning to get it, but couldn't pass up the $15 at Wal-Mart.

Re: Finding Dory - 11/15/16

Bought this as a blind purchase because I enjoyed Finding Nemo. Now I wish I had rented it first. It was just a rehash of the first film, but it wasn't as funny. And boy did they drive home the point that Dory suffers from short term memory loss... over and over. I bought the 3D version, and there were so many dark underwater scenes that it was often hard to see any added depth. Oh well.
