I learned from buying hundreds of DVD's to limit my buying habits for BluRay to just my all-time favorite movies. I have a list of about 25-30 movies I truly love that I have watched countless times. If they all came out on 4K, I would have no problem upgrading because it's such a short list. Physical Media will always exist because there is some market for it so they can make money off that.

I was flipping through the latest Best Buy flyer (Vancouver, Canada area) this morning and for the first time there was absolutely no physical media section or even reference to DVDs or Blu-ray discs.
However, there was a nice oscillating floor standing fan!

Yeah, these days losing a(nother) major retailer would probably result in a big hit for pricing and competitiveness. Especially with home media becoming a smaller market.
