I love me my Steelbooks, but 50 minutes of exclusive behind the scenes stunt extras and a $5 gift card? Target wins here.

I missed this one in theaters so I'll be blind buying this one. I'll most likely be going with the Target exclusive.

The Target exclusive is going to be $17.99 next week. I preordered when they had the 15% off as well. So between the discounts and the $5 preorder gift card, this is going to be a $10 release.

With the price drop next week, will Target automatically adjust the price or do I need to contact them to request it?

I've always had to contact them, because usually the price changes on the Sunday once the ad hits, and the movie always ships the week before. The online chat feature is pretty painless.

I believe if the price changes online before it ships, they adjust it. If it's after it ships, you have to contact them.

Ditto what The Movieman replied...really happy to hear using the chat feature to request a price adjustment is painless. I really lucked out with this...used a $30 GC to get this and a couple CDs during the Cyber Monday 15% off sale, so with the price adjustment, $5 GC for pre-ordering, and use of my gift card I ended up purchasing over $45 worth of product for what will come out to about $9 total when it is all said and done. Yay!

I like steelbooks and all, but I'll take the Target exclusive with the extra features over a steelbook any day.

I couldn't get online rep to pricematch Target's $17.99 price with that CYBER15 coupon code used on November 30. According to their pricematch policy, they won't pricematch when a coupon was applied. Bummer. The CYBER15 code yielded a slightly better discount than the $17.99 price, so I'm sticking with my original order.

Re: MISSION IMPOSSIBLE Rogue Nation: -12/15/2015
I ordered the Target exclusive for in-store pickup. The one they held for me had one of those spider anti-theft devices on it, which had badly damaged the slipcase. They claimed it was the only one they had left, but there were plenty on the shelf by the registers, and those didn't have spiders on them.
It was a pain in the ass because the "store associate" wouldn't just swap them since the one they held for me had a sticker with my name on it. Eventually he got a manger to come over and she just pulled the sticker off the damaged one and stuck it to the undamaged case.
I can't imagine why I do most of my shopping online anymore.

Went to Best Buy on my lunch today. They still had a few copies of the Steelbook.
Wasn't feeling the Steelbook, so I went ahead and picked up the standard edition.

Got the collection Steelbook from BB in the mail yesterday. Very impressed with it. Even has an empty slot for another disc (MI:6) which I dont believe was advertised.

Nice. Still sucks that the MI3 Blu-ray doesn't have the second disc full of extras.

There appears to be a difference between the "Impossible Stunts Edition" between Canada and the U.S. Up here, it's a Walmart exclusive, and the package and promo copy claims the bonus disc has "over 90 minutes" of footage, whereas the U.S. Target exclusive claims "over 50 minutes" of footage. Is it possible the Canadian disc is combining content that was spread across two or more retailers in the U.S., or do they both have identical content only with different marketing spins (i.e. does the U.S. bonus disc actually run over 90 minutes?), or did they simply move bonus featurettes from the main disc to the bonus disc for the Canadian market so they could claim a longer run time and confuse the issue? (I'm kinda leaning toward the latter, actually)
