The Blu-ray release of Inside Out is presented in 1080p with DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround. A DVD and digital copy of the film is included in both the 2D and 3D combo packs.

Pixar and Marvel are both exempt from Disney's "No 3D Blu-ray" policy.

can't wait to revisit this in 3D.

Relieved that there will be a 3D release in the US. I'm still waiting for a low price on Big Hero 6 since I have to import that one, stupid Disney.

well in case you missed it - just this week Disney was dicking around with on/off/on again - will they or won't they release this in 3D on folks 3D preorders.

preordered the 3D way back at the end of June.

Inside Out didn't resonate with me as much as I hoped it would, but i'll still probably buy the 2D combo pack.

I did, as well, so that I could guarantee the 3D. I was lucky to do the same with Frozen and Big Hero 6.

So no domestic steelbook announced yet? Not even a blink-and-you'll-miss-it Target exclusive?

Lately Target seems to be into doing digibooks for the Diamond Editions and bonus discs for the new Disney/Pixar releases.

Target had an exclusive Steelbook for Big Hero 6 (same one as Zavi actually). That was pretty recently.

I have that one, but it an exception rather than the rule. See Aladdin digibook.

I would love to be wrong and score a Inside Out steelbook. But I think it's more likely we will see a bonus disc (if there is any exclusive) just like Monster's University.

DMA (Disney Movie Anywhere) - can be played on almost anything now - VUDU, Amazon Instant Video, Google Play, Itunes.

Also a separate Digital Copy to redeem at any of the sites listed above.

I linked my DMA in with iTunes and Vudu, didn't know I could with Amazon.

Good to know, wife wants everything digital but I'm still getting all Pixar on physical.
