Is there a layer change in the *new* Ghostbusters Blu ray?

I was watching the new 4K mastered Ghostbusters on Blu ray. There's a part where it freezes up and then continues on. It's a little after the part where the possessed Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis kiss and look out.

Could someone let me know if this is a layer change or a scratch or something? Thanks.

(Also: is it safe to the Blu rays to hold them in a CD wallet?)

I don't think blu-rays have noticeable layer changes, so it might be a problem with your disc.

Blu-rays have layer changes but it's supposed to be completely seamless. Anything freezing up means you have a faulty disc most likely.

I played my disc on my brother's BD-ROM and my Blu ray player and it works fine. It must be something persnickety in my parent's Blu ray player.

Thus ends the mystery.
