Edge of Tomorrow (3D, 2D) -- Oct. 7th, 2014

Extras include:

• Operation Downfall
• Adrenaline Cut
• Storming The Beach
• Weapons Of The Future
• Creatures Not Of This World
• On The Edge With Doug Liman
• Deleted Scenes

Getting this one as soon as humanly possible, but I really hope some location dishes out an exclusive cover that's slicker than the ones floating around.

I even preferred the initial design on Amazon:

Yeah, plus for the uninformed, they're going to think the movie is called Live. Die. Repeat since the real title is in such small lettering, right after the talent names (which is kind of odd)

Wow, that is a terrible cover. Easy purchase for me, loved the heck out of this.

Even the spine says "Live Die Repeat" before the actual title.

There's no way that'll be the final cover art.

Day 1 purchase for sure, but it rivals the lameness of the Matrix Revolutions DVD art.

At Redbox you can't make out the real title because the thumbnail is so small so I have to make it bigger to figure out what the movie was.

Are they trying to rename it for home video? Seems so.

I think a lot of people who skipped this in the theaters are going to be surprised how good it is when they finally see it. It was one of the best summer movies at the beginning of summer, and now that we're at the end of summer, it's still one of the best that came out.

That's one of the worst covers I've ever seen. Missed this in the theater, but I want to check it out on BD.

I wonder if Live.Die.Repeat was the original title or something. Edge of Tomorrow seems so generic in comparison, but exactly what some studio idiot would propose as a title.

Actually, the Japanese light novel its adapted form is titled All You Need is Kill. Edge of Tomorrow isn't the best name for it, but it's better than that.

I'm assuming the big bolder letters are there to tell Joe Blow what the movie is actually about.

The original title "All You Need is Kill" was so much more striking than "Edge of Tomorrow"

A shame it was changed.

Missed this in the theaters, but heard great things. Might actually be a blind buy for me at some point.

The funny thing about that title is streaming sites like iTunes even have it listed as "Live Die Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow"

Agreed.

I'm also leaning towards buying the 3D version.

Was this a PC or a native 3D film?

PC.

Never saw it in 3D, only 2D twice. One of the best 7.1 mixes I've heard theatrically.

Thoroughly enjoyed this film in IMAX 3D.

I think LIVE. DIE. REPEAT would have been a great title. I liked the original title but the current one sucks.

I read they will be including a recently completed short entitled Lather.Rinse.Repeat.

Yup Live. Die. Repeat. is far better than Edge of tomorrow. An awesome movie that I will be buying on release, one of the best releases this year.

It's going under the name "Live Die Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow" on iTunes. Is this the first time this has happened? Where a movie changes it's title from the theater to video release?
