Earlier this month we passed along word from Amazon.com's Blu-ray listing for the item that Hannibal - Season 2 was (and still is, as of this writing) showing a September 9th release date for the title. Today Lionsgate sent word to retailers that they've finalized the street date for the DVD ($39.98 SRP; 4 discs) and high-def Blu-ray Disc ($39.97 SRP; 3 discs) versions of the item: it will be in stores on September 16th, a week later than what Amazon has been showing. Both versions will come with a nice list of bonus material:

One of the best network TV shows right now. I'll eventually pick this up.

Must own, IMO.

Having watched it week to week, I'll hold off until it drops in price. But I'll certainly add it to my S1 set.

Since it's Lions gate, I'm definitely holding off until the price drops but I can't wait for this. Bring on Season 3 already!

I'm hoping the price is decent on the first day. Can't wait to pick this up!

I hate that they release gag reels now. That was part of the fun of picking up the sets, but alas. Some funny stuff here.
