According to the Best Buy ad, the 2D version will be $17.99 and the 3D version will be $34.99. Target's ad has the 2D version for $22.99 and the 3D version for $35.99. Looks like I'm waiting for a sale.

thanks. i just ordered it from there. i was trying to figure out who had all the different versions (wanted one w/ DVD), so it was much easier to buy it from Amazon.

Man I really wanted the 3D version, but can't swing the price difference. $17 for a 3D disc and minifigure I don't want is kind of ridiculous. Picked up the combo pack at Wal-Mart this morning for $17.99. Wal-mart exclusive has VUDU code for an episode of Ninjago TV episode.

Yeah, I can afford it -- but that's a pretty high premium that I choose to bypass in this case.
I'm saving up for a new car; every $17 chunk helps.

This is where I'm getting my copy from. Sadly, though, it's not being released until late July (which means it won't arrive until early August). Still, I want the 3D version without paying for all that extra junk. If the U.S. 3D version price drops before then, I'll just cancel this and order it here.
