Good to know. In that case, according to my research: not only will it feature both cuts of the film, it's going to have all the goodies from the special features of the two previous DVD releases--right down to the easter eggs.

Finally!
The only Kevin Smith movie that had yet to see a Blu Ray release in the US. I could never quite understand this, as a high def transfer had already been made for the HD-DVD release many years ago, and, it's been available in the UK on BR for over a year. Glad I held off on picking up an import.

It should come with a free bag of chocolate covered pretzels.

At one point, there was talk of Lionsgate, after they acquired the rights to distribute some of the Miramax catalog, re-issuing it with all of the DVD bonus features. However that was almost three years ago, and so far, nothing's ever come of it.

But if you want to see the 90 minute making of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, just pick up the Clerks 15th Anniversary Edition. For some dumb reason, they have it on there.

the real reason to own the Jay & Bob dvd is the deleted scenes, several of which were cut down because the MPAA thought the dialogue was too graphic

Say what one will about Kevin Smith's movies, but the DVD's and Blu rays (with one glaring exception) go the whole nine yards and put so many releases of more respected films to shame.
Mallrats has both cuts of the film, in that respect, it outclasses Oliver Stone's JFK, Nixon, Milos Forman's Amadeus, and Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous and tons of others. Good job, Kevin!
