Nice price- remember buying the two of them on widescreen laserdisc ON SALE for $34.99 EACH (regular price for each was $39.99!) The 3rd one isn't quite all there, and it's the only one in 1.85, but I have the DVD just for completeness' sake.

I'm looking forward to the next film, "Crocodile Dundee versus The World Crime League"

I'm actually surprised that they aren't putting out Los Angeles, since they made the decision to put II out instead of just the first one.

With that said, I'm personally not bothered, since the first two are the only ones I'd want.

Got this the other day and pleasantly surprised to see each movie is on its own disc rather than the double feature on 1 disc Disney has done on their releases...

He is saying that given what Disney does, his expectations were that Paramount would do the same and squeeze two titles onto one disc.

Didn't make much difference...the quality of the transfers ranges from average (first film) to below average (sequel) and there's virtually no extras (trailer for the first movie/trailer and 5-minute featurette for the sequel).

This is what I was wondering about and what I was expecting, mediocre transfers. Oh well, I'll probably pass on this now.

Yeah, I assume they did that not so much because the transfers would be fantastic (they're not) but so they can package them separately down the road.

I actually think the discs were likely prepared for individual release and then by the time marketing decided to release them in 2014, the market for mediocre catalog product like Dundee 2 had dried up. It's a more attractive set for retailers like Walmart to carry if it includes the most popular sequel in a two-pack.

Could be the case.
