Finally a widescreen release of this movie! Not sure I'd want it for anything more than the nostalgia factor at this point though, and the pricing is quite steep.

This had BETTER be in widescreen. I was so mad after getting shafted on the so-called special edition dvd from a few years ago. Though, since it was filmed Super35, you can fill a widescreen tv and see it in it's proper aspect ratio. But the special effect scenes are pan and scan. I can't wait for this blu-ray...

I always enjoyed this movie when I was a kid but I don't think it's something I'd ever watch myself again. Nice that it's finally going to get a proper release.

I would say there is no way it will cost that much for a catalog title. Nice to finally see a widescreen release, and it is still a great family movie.

I watched part of this on TV a few months ago and was surprised by how much I still enjoyed it. I may well pick this up when it drops in price a bit.
