Glad I placed my preorder when it was in goldbox for $19.94. Amazon updated their listing, and the limited edition packaging has now been changed to steelbook

I also wonder if that 10/1 release date from gohastings is going to stick or not

I had this on pre-order from Amazon, but honestly I don't really care about Steel books. Will wait to pick it up in stores. Hopefully there is some sort of exclusive.

Almost 6 months after it's theatrical release. WTF is up with that? Is Universal trying to get the Holiday crowd to get this?

Only 2 more months RocShemp. Maybe you should have seen this in theaters? One of the biggest hits of the summer and you decided to pass on seeing it in theaters.

They probably want to keep in fresh in mind for people since the next one is coming out next summer.

Someone speculated on another site that they may be postponing the U.S. release to add some kind of sneak preview to Fast and Furious 7.

That means they would have to do some early post work on some of the dailies.

True, it could be interviews with Diesel, Walker, The Rock, Statham, and James Wan etc.

Actually it wouldn't make any sense to do post work on any of their dailies now since they still have months of shooting left.

I think I can hold out for 2 more months. I really want to watch it again though...maybe do a 4-6 marathon. I'm sure the U.S. Release will have some kind of exclusive like a bonus disc. I mean it was probably the most successful action movie this past summer.
