Looking forward to it.

Neil's in Korea?

I'm very interested in these, but I don't want to pay a crazy price for them.

No. I'm the one that didn't beat up his students first.

So you rubbed one out before administering a beating with your sticky fist?

Wonderful! And, please SHOUT, let's get a Corman Poe Films boxset also! You're halfway there with releasing the Vincent Price Poe features...

My thoughts exactly. This is something that I have to have. Vincent Price is my favorite and I love all of those movies listed in this set. Bring it on!

Wait ... which company made this announcement? That makes all the difference between a set I can't wait to come out, or a set that pisses me off because it takes the Blu-Ray rights away from someone who will do the movies justice.

These are some of Price's best. You'll see the cream of the crop for the Corman/Poe (though one is really Lovecraft) adaptations. Gothic horror the way they just don't make anymore. Witchfinder General was way ahead of its time, and counters the opinion that Price could only act hammy. And Dr. Phibes is great fun.

Oh, wow. I should probably start saving my change in a coffee can now so that I can afford to get it in October.

I think that it would be awesome if they could have the Ken Films Super 8 version of The Pit and the Pendulum (preferably the color and sound version) as an extra:

There was also a Super 8 condensation released for Masque of the Red Death in Germany which would be fun to see as an extra.

Masque of Red Death in particular should look beautiful on Blu-Ray.

Incredible announcement! The only other thing I would like to see included in this would be Dr. Phibes Rises Again. Since the first movie is being released on Blu-ray, I would really want the second one, too.

I might be all alone in this but I thought Tomb of Ligeia was better than Pit and the Pendulum and Fall of the House of Usher :X

The Raven is a lot of fun too. All the movies included in this are still great though, I don't mean to complain

Arrow is also releasing Fall of the House of Usher in a sexy-looking Steelbook. Needless to say I will be buying both.

***EXCLUSIVE KEY ART REVEAL***

Check out the classy new artwork for our upcoming Blu-ray set of THE VINCENT PRICE COLLECTION, illustrated by artist Joel Robinson.

The image on the left will be on the slipcase. The image on the right - with a clever “skull” reveal - will be on blu-ray case that will house the following films: Fall of the House of Usher, The Haunted Palace, The Masque of the Red Death, The Pit and the Pendulum, Witchfinder General (and its alternate U.S. version, The Conqueror Worm) and The Abominable Dr. Phibes. A 24-page booklet will also be included that will include original theatrical poster images.

The set is planned for Fall before Halloween. Look for more details on extras and exact street date later on this Summer.

Wish they'd included Phibes Rises Again, but I'll still likely grab this set. Cover art looks nice.

Agreed. The sequel isn't quite as good, but still a fun time. Looks like I'll have to hold onto my MGM Midnite Movies double feature disc.
