What decade do you own the most of on BD?
I've been wondering this lately as my BD collection grows from it's material in the 1940s.
So...What decade do you own the most of on BD?
Mine is the 2000s. Which makes sense due to my youth.

According to my blu-ray.com stats, 26.1% of my collection is from the 2000s.
Which makes sense due to my youth.
2nd place: '80s with 21.5%.

I figured most of mine (I own 139) would be in the '80s (high school) or '90s (college), but surprisingly, 47.1% are from the 2000s.
Only 8% are from the '80s.

Taxi Driver is a fucking great BD. Reference material right there when working on older films.
I'm not being rude but what has made you to stop at the 50s in terms of decades for film?

Of my 656 (counting TV seasons as 1), only 9 are BDs. With the exception of 1 from 1981 and 1 from 2005, the remainder of the BDs I own so far are from 2011/12. -kd5-

Years 2001-2010 - At least 138 Blu-Rays. I am going to some more counting later, have to finish helping the wife put away the Christmas ordainments.
This is somewhere between 40% to 50% of all of the BRs I own.
This was a little higher than I thought it would be.

Makes sense if you've been buying BDs for a few years, that all new releases would be in BD and you might only upgrade your favorites from years past.

I never really checked by decade. According to my DVD Profiler the 2000's. Then the 1990's. Followed by the 1960's.

Re: What decade do you own the most of on BD?
I'm going to guess 2000's only because of the availability of new releases vs. catalog titles which I like. Plus it seems the movies I liked growing up don't hold up well when I see them today. I was remembering them through rose colored glasses

I do own more from the 60's than the 70's or 80's.
