I was a little disappointed with the track myself. I was very excited when it was announced that Adele was doing the song but it didn't live up to what it could have been in my opinion.

For what it's worth, they had blu and DVD copies for sale at my local Rite Aid.

Re: Skyfall (early 2013, possibly 3/12/13)
Incidentally, I did get a laugh during Sam Mendes's commentary track when they got to the scene where Bond, M and Kincade are preparing for the final battle. He himself called it "the Home Alone scene", noting that some people expected Joe Pesci to jump out. His defense for it was that if we're going to see booby traps going off, we need to see them being set and I think that's a reasonable argument.

Also, the skyfall disc looks just fine in the bond 50 set... The 007 logo on the disc matches the one on every other disc . Not sure if that was deliberate , but if so, nice touch. |

Re: Skyfall (early 2013, possibly 3/12/13)
I bought this yesterday at Wal-Mart. I went through the self-checkout lane (the lines for the cashiers were crazy and I had to get to work) and it rang up at $21.96. It was listed at $24.99 but was expecting it to ring up and $18.96 as reported here. I was in a hurry and didn't feel like messing with it so I just paid my money and got out. I also didn't want my argument to be, "hey my internet friends said it would be $18.96!"

Yep, it was $19.96 at my local WM.

Re: Skyfall (early 2013, possibly 3/12/13)
Thanks Snake. This was the last BD I was wanting a deal on and I wouldn't have caught it without your post.

Re: Skyfall (early 2013, possibly 3/12/13)
No probs. I've spent over $500 at Amazon...TODAY alone and I'm done. I had to delete some shit on my huge ass order once I saw Skyfall on there. I can live without Moneyball, Seven Psychopaths, Safe, and Chronicle. Ugh. I spent $1000 last year..but somehow this $540 or whatever bothers me the most. Mostly cuz it's the 360 I bought in there, I did need a new one though..plus it had Tomb Raider and Halo 4 (i'm whatever on that one but it's good that it's there). Zatoichi will keep me happy though. $76.72 for 25 flicks? Yeah, I'm happy.

It's $7.99 at Frys.com right now as well.
