I had the original Sony "tank" - the BDP-S1. Thing felt like it was 15 lbs. I paid $899 for that in November 2006. I wanted to buy Blu-ray and HD DVD the same day, and since that was when PS3's were briefly hard to get, I went with it. So yeah, $500 for my BDP-83 that I've already enjoyed for years seems like no big deal to me.
My 300 is the l'il tank. Yet it still plays almost everything I throw into it, albeit sluggishly. Except for the FlashForward DVD set, which pretty much chokes it. :sad: David |

Yes, I have a concern. Playing The Beatles Green Apple FLAC from my Netgear NAS to my BDP-93, and the songs come out in title order, and not filename order. I preface the title with the 2-digit (zero padded) track number in order to do this. However, either my DLNA on the NAS is incorrect, or I do not know how to play in filename order.
Can anyone shed some light on this? Is there anybody out there? |

Oppo still has customer service available via email. You could always contact them if stuck up a creek.
