Ronin Flix has a 30% off sale when you buy $50 or more starting tomorrow. Free shipping at $30

It's about 40 titles from MGM/Scorpion releasing.

You can stuff like Death Wish 3, The Delta Force, The Mechanic, Lone Wolf McQuade and such.

The Scorpion MGM sale at Ronin Flix is active now. I decided to get Delta Force (mainly for the new transfer) and get Death Wish 3. Came out to $42 and change with free shipping. Those were the only 2 titles I really wanted.

My Delta Force and Death Wish 3 BDs arrived yesterday from Roninflix.

I watched Delta Force yesterday. It's definitely a more crisper transfer than the Arrow region B version and way better than the FOX version from years ago. Yes, I now have 3 copies of Delta Force  The main extra is an almost 12 minute interview with the co-writer of the movie James Bruner. He talks about the movie and how Lee Marvin got involved when Charles Bronson didn't work out. I thought it was hilarious that he said Menahem Golan just told him to make up an action movie with Chuck Norris and Charles Bronson when it was initially sold. Lucky the TWA hijacking happened otherwise they had no story. He said a Delta Force toy line was in development, but was scrapped even though a prototype was made. He also said that they wanted Lee Marvin back for Delta Force 2, but Marvin was in poor health due to emphysema. Some interesting nuggets. The other extra is 37 minutes of archived interviews from the Electric Boogalo documentary that mainly features Robert Forster.

Walt Olsen just passed away. In the space of about six months, we lost both the brothers behind Code Red and Scorpion Releasing.

He was kind of a nut.

I remember on the blu-ray forum where he would just lose his shit sometimes and post wacky stuff years ago. But also, several of the motherfuckers over there would antagonize the hell out of him.

That's sad news. The media business is a rough game.
